My Second Draft Feedback (Culture In The Digital Age)

Here are some screenshots I have took, of the feedback I received on my first draft.

I posted my documentary on a group chat (Teams) and made a google full of questions people could answer.

As a whole everyone liked my documentary and said that it got the point across. Some people liked it so much they even said it was the best documentary they had watched all year. When I asked people on whether or not they liked my edits they said yes. The only real bit of criticism I received was people hating the way I make tea and the sound of the ending credits music was to loud. However it isn't enough to completely change the documentary again so I am happy with this draft. I think the ending was far more fitting and suited to the style of my documentary. That said I will not be making any changes to my documentary because the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

Robin : I think you have written this very well and it has a strong narrative and it has an ark. You present it well and the visual style is entertaining and keeps me engaged. It has your own stylistic approach, through the use of camera angles, edits and visually stimulating cut a ways. You are very relaxed and confident, to the point where your acting yourself which is great. You have a lot of self taught skills from YouTube and brought them into your documentary. You know not to have lots of talking headshots and raw cuts. You could potentially use some more interesting lights and camera angles to improve your documentary.

Emma : Maybe you could experiment with cut a ways and having your name disappear of the screen during certain shots. Good work.

Neil : I liked your documentary, I thought it was really good.
